Benefits of Attending the Workshop
The workshop is open to anyone affected by dementia or who would like to learn more about dementia.
In addition to providing information and resources, the workshop is designed to build a community support network. As such, it is a great opportunity to meet other people affected by dementia and to share experiences, stories, and advice.
Moreover, the event provides an opportunity to learn about the latest research and developments related to dementia. There will also be information about the different types of dementia, various treatments, and services available for those affected by the condition. This in-depth knowledge will help you make informed decisions when it comes to caring for yourself or a loved one.
Expert Advice at the Workshop
Throughout the workshop, Alzheimer's Society advisors will be available for group discussions and individual conversations. In addition, Pam, an Adult Social Care Worker, and Karen, the Health & Wellbeing Nurse who runs the workshop, will assist to promote dementia health and wellbeing. These professionals will be ready to provide comprehensive support and answer questions from those attending the event.
Finally, the experts will provide insight into the various local and national resources available to those affected by dementia. They will explain the different types of financial assistance and other services available, as well as how to access them.
